Target Population

Indicated for adult patients with multiple myeloma and Kaposi's sarcoma.

Dosage and Administration

The recommended dose for multiple myeloma is 4 mg once daily for 21 consecutive days followed by 7 days off; for Kaposi's sarcoma, the recommended dose is 5 mg once daily using the same administration schedule.

Use in Specific Populations

Dose adjustment is required for patients with hepatic or renal impairment. Contraindicated in pregnant women; breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment.

Overdosage

In the event of an overdose, the drug can be cleared by hemodialysis.

Pharmacokinetics

Peak plasma concentration is reached within 2–3 hours following oral administration. The elimination half-life is approximately 7.5–9.5 hours, and it is primarily metabolized by the liver.
