Precautions for the use of medications in Psoriasis

1. Avoid concomitant immunosuppressants

Psoriasis patients may aggravate psoriasis when they use immunosuppressant drugs, so it is necessary to avoid concomitant use, such as methotrexate tablets, azathioprine tablets, etc.

2. Avoid concomitant use of corticosteroid medications

Corticosteroid drugs such as dexamethasone tablets, betamethasone tablets, etc., as well as topical drugs such as halomethasone cream and compound flumethasone ointment, may cause psoriasis exacerbation and should be avoided at the same time.

3. Avoid harsh toiletries

Avoid shampoos that may irritate the skin and aggravate the condition.

4. Infection Control

If an infection does occur, it should be controlled before treatment. Exudation should be treated as acute or subacute dermatitis.

5. Individualized Treatment

The treatment of psoriasis should be tailored to the individual situation, including the type of drug, dosage, and duration of medication.
