What to do if you miss a dose of asciminib or take an overdose

If you forget to take your medicine: For the once-daily regimen, if it is less than 12 hours until your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose as planned; if it is more than 12 hours, take the missed dose immediately, then take your next dose as planned. For the twice-daily regimen, if it is less than 6 hours until your next dose, skip the missed dose; if it is more than 6 hours, take the missed dose immediately, then take your next dose as planned. If you have taken too many tablets, or if someone else has accidentally taken your medicine, contact your doctor immediately for advice, and show them the medicine pack – medical treatment may be required. Do not stop treatment unless your doctor tells you to.
