The recommended starting dose of axitinib is 5 mg orally twice daily. The interval between doses is about 12 hours, with or without food. INLYTA should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. If the patient vomits or misses a dose, no further dose should be taken. The next prescribed dose should be taken at the normal time.
